Lindsey B. Craft is the Founder & Managing Attorney of Modern Law for Modern Women, where she oversees Firm operations.

 

Lindsey's practice focuses on Estate Planning, Probate, Property Law, Intellectual Property, Surrogacy, and serving as counsel to several businesses across Texas and beyond in various domestic and international matters. Though Lindsey focuses heavily on the transactional and advisory role, she is no stranger to the courtroom having appeared in courts at the state and federal level across Texas and several other states. Lindsey is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and the Northern and Eastern U.S. District Courts of Texas.

Lindsey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas Tech University, where she was a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda and graduated Cum Laude. She received her Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2014 where she was actively involved as President of the SMU Real Estate Law Association, Articles Editor of SMU Science and Technology Law Review, a member of the Student Bar Association finance committee, and a participant in SMU-in-Oxford where she studied Real Estate Transactions and Comparative Human Rights at University College, Oxford.

Lindsey started her practice working for a non-profit representing victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Throughout her legal career, she has served as a Guardian/Attorney ad litem for abused and neglected children in substitute care and presented research on federal laws promoting education improvements and benefits for foster children that provided the foundation for the W. W. Caruth, Jr. Institute for Children’s Rights. Today, Lindsey volunteers in her community as a CASA. 

Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, and frequently can be found traveling around the world in her personal mission to visit as many countries in her life as time will allow.
